The quality on this three-piece katana set must be seen to be believed. The saya (katana terminology for sheaths) and stand are made from solid wood. The blades are high quality carbon steel with machined clay tempered look. Don't let the price fool you - these are not toys or simple decorations though many people use them as such. These are functional weapons that just happen to liven any scenery around them. The tsuba (guards) are metal and have a futuristic look, while the saya have a more traditional blue pattern. The two distinct styles offset each other nicely which gives this set very high artistic appeal.
These ship semi-sharp with a coating of oil to make sure they are in perfect, unrusted condition when they arrive at your door.
Includes the easy to assemble three-piece wood stand and everything shown. Swords are 38", 28.5", and 19". Stand is 12" high. Makes a great gift! All of our products are packaged in plain brown boxes with no markings to identify our company to make sure no surprises are spoiled.
The carbon steel blade makes these swords safer to use in combat demonstrations and cutting exercises when compared with stainless steel weapons, because they are less likely to break or snap.
