No martial arts enthusiasts collection would be complete without a set of swords like this. The saya (sheath) and tsuka (grip) are painted with various martial arts techniques. The quality on this three-piece katana set must be seen to be believed. The blades are high quality carbon steel with machined clay tempered look. Don't let the price fool you - these are not toys or simple decorations though many people use them as such. These are functional weapons that just happen to liven any scenery around them.
These are straighter than most of the katana you will find which really adds to the uniqueness of this set. Another feature you will notice is the yin-yangs built into the tsuba (guard) and the saya.
These ship semi-sharp with a coating of oil to make sure they are in perfect, unrusted condition when they arrive at your door.
Includes the easy to assemble three-piece wood stand and everything shown. Swords are 40", 32", and 23.5". Stand is 12" high. Makes a great gift! All of our products are packaged in plain brown boxes with no markings to identify our company to make sure no surprises are spoiled.
The carbon steel blade makes these swords safer to use in combat demonstrations and cutting exercises when compared with stainless steel weapons, because they are less likely to break or snap. Stainless steel and carbon steel both have their advantages - be sure to choose the one that suits the true purpose of your weapon.
