This short gladiator sword is stylish with the wood hilt, ivory color grip and gold highlights, and the mirror polished stainless steel blade lets you know that it means business.

A short sword at 39" overall with a 29.5" blade, it is easy to carry for anyone, and the light weight also makes it incredibly fun to swing around (not that we have ever tried this ourselves or recommend it highly.)

In case you were wondering, neither the ivory nor the gold are real; save the elephants! However the sheath is indeed wood with a fabric cover. The grip is plastic for reduced weight and incredible longevity. You'll like the way the straps on the case wrap around your shoulders and the fully functional clasp holds the sword securely at your back.
It's a myth that carbon steel blades are superior to stainless steel blades. Stainless steel actually costs more to produce and is shinier naturally, along with being highly resistant to rust. This makes stainless steel a much better material for display or costume swords. The advantage of carbon steel is that it will bend instead of snapping, and is therefore safer to use in combat demonstrations. Stainless steel and carbon steel both have their advantages - be sure to choose the one that suits the true purpose of your weapon.
