The quality on this three-piece katana set must be seen to be believed. The blades are high quality carbon steel with machined clay tempered look. Don't let the price fool you - these are high quality swords for display use. These are functional weapons that just happen to liven any scenery around them.
These katana are very straight compared to most of the katana you will find. One thing that is very unique and interesting about these katana is that the back of the blade is designed to be sharpened half way up. If someone sees these swords and doesn't like them, just point this out and they will be impressed. The six dragon heads and the flame decorations are all metal, not plastic or painted on like some lower quality swords, making these relatively heavy.
These ship semi-sharp with a coating of oil to make sure they are in perfect, unrusted condition when they arrive at your door.
