The quality on this three-piece katana set must be seen to be believed. The blades are high quality carbon steel with machined clay tempered look. Don't let the price fool you - these are not toys or simple decorations though many people use them as such. These are functional weapons that just happen to liven any scenery around them.
These katana have menacing dragon heads bursting fourth from the saya (sheath) and tuska (grip). It gives them a very unique, symmetrical look. The tsuba (guards) are also a high point of this item, with dragon bodies making up the entire tsuba, not just hiding in the design like with most katana. The brushed titanium look on the accents and the beige and black fabric wrapping really finishes these blades nicely.
These ship semi-sharp with a coating of oil to make sure they are in perfect, unrusted condition when they arrive at your door.
Includes the easy to assemble three-piece wood stand and everything shown. Swords are 42", 33", and 24.5". Stand is 12" high. Makes a great gift! All of our products are packaged in plain brown boxes with no markings to identify our company to make sure no surprises are spoiled.
The carbon steel blade makes these swords safer to use in combat demonstrations and cutting exercises when compared with stainless steel weapons, because they are less likely to break or snap.
